Age is just a number
Melchizedek, a famous character in “Alchemist,” talks to the protagonist of the novel, Santiago. He says, “When a person is young, he wants to pursue his dreams, and he is ready to take any risk necessary to achieve them.” However, over time a negative force starts convincing him that he can’t pursue his dream and that he will never be able to achieve it. This negative force prevents him from pursuing his dreams, and ultimately this negative force leads him to failure.
I also have a friend who thinks the same way. He feels that there is an age for fulfilling dreams, while I disagree. I believe that if you really want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you achieve it. It can be tough to stay motivated all the time, especially in difficult times. If you put your mind to your dream, you can achieve anything. It takes a lot of effort and perseverance to achieve your goals. In fact, you need grit to achieve them. The article is written for people who believe that dreams can be achieved in a certain age. This article is for those who ‘re not living up to their true potential. Regardless of your age, you can always pursue your dreams.
Age is just a number. You can still do things and have a great life at any age. There are plenty of examples out there to show that this is true. Bill Gates founded Microsoft in 1975 when he was 19 years old and became the richest man in the world when he was 31 years old. Today, polo is a very well-known brand all over the world. Ralph Lauren was only nineteen years old when he launched his famous brand ” POLO.” Thomas Jefferson wrote the American Declaration of Independence when he was 27 years old. Coco Channel was 38-year-old when she launched her namesake perfume, Channel 5. Roy Crook was eight years old when he bought McDonald’s from Mac and Dick McDonald. Ichijiro Araya, a Japanese old man, climbed Mount Fuji at the age of 100. Emerson was fourteen when he began his studies at Harvard. Plato was twenty when he started his education with Socrates. Nelson Mandela was released from prison at the age of 72 and became President of South Africa at the age of 80.
No matter what your age is, it takes hard work, determination, and dedication on your part to fulfill your dreams. Your past is gone, but your future is waiting for you. You can either choose to focus on the negative aspects of your past or look toward the positive possibilities that lie ahead. It’s up to you; there’s no point dwelling on what has already passed. The only thing that matters is what you do today and how you make tomorrow a better day. To make your dreams a reality, you need to figure out what you want from life. You have to consider writing your life story consciously; as Abraham Lincoln said, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.
