“They said it was just a fad” is a phrase often used to dismiss new trends or ideas that are initially met with uncertainty. History has shown that many innovations and movements initially labeled as fads have gone on to have a lasting impact on society. From technological advancements like the internet and social media to cultural phenomena like certain music genres or fashion trends, what may begin as a fad can evolve into a significant and enduring aspect of our lives.

This highlights the importance of being open-minded and receptive to change, as what may seem fleeting at first glance can ultimately shape the future in meaningful ways.

Next, the student will see a word. Finally, the teacher will ask the student to construct a sentence utilizing that word.
